The chakras are vital energy centers of our bodies. The main seven ones are along the spine, through the neck and the crown of our head. They function physiologically, psychologically, and spiritually and like the body, significant emotional events are embedded in them. When they’re open, our energy can freely move and harmony exists between our body, mind, and spirit. Blockage or imbalance can lead to physical symptoms, illness, disconnections, and emotional and psychological struggles. Integrating self-compassion, here are seven affirmations to support you into balance.

There are incredible benefits to our overall physical and psychological wellbeing when we expose ourselves to the natural world.

Here are just a few effects: nature can improve our mood, decrease stress, help us feel more relaxed, improves our self-esteem, increases our empathy for others, and we are still learning more!

Recently I saw a Tik Tok from a young Gen Z’er that stated that they didn’t understand why Pride Month “is a thing.”

This. This is why.

Learning collective history and informing ourselves of the past provides a foundation for future activism and support. It also just creates space for gratitude and recognition for the increased visibility and acceptance of the LGBTQ+ community. In comparison to 50+ years ago, we have come a long way, but there’s still so much work to be done.
