Teens & Young Adults
-
For those in the middle of becoming —figuring out who you are, where you belong, and how to navigate a world that wasn't always built for you.
-
Adolescence and early adulthood are some of the most disorienting, and quietly sacred seasons of life. You're being asked to perform certainty you don't feel, meet expectations that may not fit, and figure out your identity in real time, often without a map. That's a lot to carry. And you don't have to carry it alone!
-
This space is especially for you if you're:
-
Questioning or exploring your gender identity or sexuality
-
Navigating neurodivergence —whether newly identified or long-known
-
Struggling with anxiety, depression, or feeling like you just can't keep up
-
Dealing with family dynamics, friendship ruptures, or romantic relationship stress
-
Processing trauma —including relational or intergenerational
-
Feeling like you have to mask who you are to be accepted
-
Trying to untangle what you actually want from what everyone else expects of you
-

What our work might look like:
-
There's no script here. Some sessions we'll go deep. Some we'll stay close to the surface and that's okay too. I follow your lead.
-
We might explore how your nervous system responds to the world around you with school, family, friendships, social media and start to understand your patterns with more compassion and less self-blame. We'll look at where you've had to shrink or perform, and gently make room for what's more authentically you.
-
For neurodivergent teens and young adults especially, so much stress and pain comes from spending years trying to fit a mold that was never made for your brain or body. Here, your way of experiencing the world isn't a problem to fix but a starting point for understanding yourself more fully.

A note for parents & guardians & caregivers:
-
I work with pre-teens, teens, and young adults. If you're a caregiver wondering whether therapy is the right step, I offer a free 15-minute consultation to talk through what your teen is navigating and whether we might be a good fit. Your child's privacy and sense of safety in the therapeutic relationship are always my top priority. I am collaborative and do parent check ins as neccessary and with permission from your teen.
-
For the initial consultation, I prefer to speak with both of you -either individually or together.
-
-
This is a space where you don't have to have it figured out. You just have to show up.
